I was disappointed with this lamp and returned it. The illumination by a 60 watt bulb (specified but not supplied) is poor, not least because the bulb is partially enclosed in a rectangular holder that obstructs the light and also makes insertion of the bulb difficult. The 3x magnification only operates at a fair distance from the light source which makes it less useful for close work. instruction says plug in florescent lamp when holder is bayonet cap,
On box it says bc 60 watt lamp not supplied , so it's not complete.
Amazon a Bit disappointing again !!.

Ordered this Friday evening and recieved this 11am saturday, outstanding Amazon, thanks.
Use this for making pole rigs for fishing and inspecting the gear i am using and for this purpose it is spot on, great magnification and even better with the light.
