Rating:  - Worked hardly for a week.!
I had bought 2 of these ones. One came faulty. Got a replacement, but those ones were even worse within a week or so. I had taken it as a gift to my family. What an embarrassment.!!
Rating:  - Brightest Thing You'll Ever See!
this torch is superb. the construction is nice and heavy and robust. the on/off button is sturdy and the 21/42/off function is very good and fits in the hand brilliantly.
in my line of work i typically enter dark and blackened buildings and areas, and this is perfect for such things - torches with focused beams may be better for long distance illumination, but for <25m this is perfect and lights the place up like day!

Very pleasantly surprised by the quality of this torch for such a reasonable price.Quality metal construction,but not at all bullky,in fact it fits my hand perfectly.
I don't have any previous experience of LED torches so can't comment on whether it is brighter or dimmer than average...what I can say though is that to me it seems very bright and is certainly bright enough for my needs.

Initially brought this for backpacking in the mountains, i wanted a torch that would be brighter than my LED mini maglite but still not too heavy. With the advertising blurb and the sheer number of LED's thought i'd give this a go. Have to admit i was expecting a min spot light, especially after being told you could see it "1 mile away".
